Participating congregations survey their members to establish a file, listing people who are willing to volunteer their services to help those in need. They can serve once or twice during a year or as often as desired but no volunteer commits to serve every time they are called.
Social service agencies, organizations, victim’s assistance programs, hospitals, clinics, churches and police officers refer people who have special needs that no one else is able to meet to the Love INC office.
A Love INC office staff member analyzes the need to make sure it is legitimate and manageable. Then a network church volunteer is contacted and asked to go out to meet the need. These volunteers can minister to, pray with and befriend the person in need if they wish. Love INC follows up with both the church volunteers and the client to make sure the ministry experience and service fully achieved its goals.
